Annual Golf Tournament

Did you know that when a child enters the family court system, they may see dozens of adults come and go – but often, just one person stays by their side through its entirety? That person is their Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA.

At CASA of Rochester/Monroe County, our volunteers are the steady, caring voices for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. Appointed by family court Judges, they visit their assigned children monthly; they listen, learn, and speak up for what’s in their best interest.

When a CASA walks into a courtroom, they carry the child’s hopes, fears, and dreams with them, and with every report a CASA submits, every conversation they have, every visit they make, prioritizes the child's best interests.

We invite you to be part of that change by joining us for our 28th Annual Pat Slimmer Memorial CASA Golf Tournament on June 1, 2026, at Ridgemont Country Club. This event brings our community together to raise funds that allow us to train and support more volunteers, ensuring that every child in Monroe County who needs a voice has one.
